The Voip comm Extensions app lets you use your home calling plan to make and receive calls on your smartphones.
The app can be downloaded from the Apple store or Google play store and linked to your service. You can then make and receive calls from the app over a Wi-Fi or 3G/4G connection.
Can I use the Extensions app on more than one smartphone?
• Yes. You can download the app to two smartphones and link them to your home phone service, free of charge. The app is available on iPhone® and Android™.
How do I make a call with the app?
• You just need to launch the Extensions app on your iPhone® or Android™ device, and then select the number you want to call. The app automatically imports all your contacts from your address book, so you’ll have them at your fingertips. The Extensions app works on 3G/4G networks and over Wi-Fi.*
How do I make international calls using my Extensions number on a landline or regular mobile phone?
Dial your access number (displayed in your Online Account).
Enter your Extensions® PIN (same as your Security PIN).
Dial the international destination number, including 011 plus the country code.
You can also make international calls over 3G/4G (standard data rates apply) and Wi-Fi networks using the Extensions app for iPhone® and Android™ devices.

What is a Virtual Number?
• Our virtual number feature allows you to have a local area code and phone number in another state or country. This means you can make calls, and be reached by people with the same area code, for the price of a local call. Note that your U.S. phone number will remain your primary number.
Can I choose the entire number instead of just the area code?
• No, you can’t. When selecting a Virtual Number, you can only choose the area code. The rest of your number will be assigned during set-up.
How do I set up a Virtual Number?
• Adding a Virtual Number to your service can be done in your Online Account.

Can I use international numbers for call forwarding?
• You can specify up to five domestic or international phone numbers to ring at the same time when you get a call. The numbers can be for cell phones, smartphones, landlines—or all of the above.
Please keep in mind that calls forwarded to international numbers not included in your plan will be charged at our low per-minute rates.
What if someone at one of the other numbers on my account answers a call before I do?
• If this happens, then all the other phone numbers will stop ringing. A call will go through to the first phone that answers it.
How often can I change the numbers to call?
•You can change it as often as you’d like in your Online Account.
How do I set up call forwarding?
•It like all of our features, can be set up in your Online Account.

How do I add more lines to my service?
• To add another voice line or a dedicated fax line, simply go to your Online Account once your primary number is set up.
Can I have two phone numbers registered to the same account?
• Absolutely. Adding a second voice line, or a dedicated fax line, to your service can be done through your Online Account.
Can I add an international number to my U.S. account?
•No, but you’re welcome to add a Virtual Number. This will give you a local area code and phone number in another country for people to call and reach you on your number.

How can I add a fax line to my service?
• After your primary line is set up, you can add a fax line through your Online Account.
Is there a limit to the number of faxes I can send?
• It depends on your plan. You can add a fax line with 250 minutes of outgoing fax service, plus unlimited incoming faxes to your personal account.
Can I use my regular phone line to send a fax?
• Yes, you can send and receive occasional faxes on your voice line. Simply connect your phone line to your fax machine. However, voice lines are not optimized for fax service so, for frequent faxing, a dedicated fax line is highly recommended.

What’s a Toll Free number? Can I add one for personal use?
• A Toll Free number lets people call you at no cost from anywhere in the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico, Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands. You can definitely add one for personal use.
Will my primary phone ring when someone calls my Toll Free number?
• Yes, it will. If you have more than one voice line, you can select which line will ring in your Online Account.
How do I set up a Toll Free number?
• Adding a Toll Free Plus number can be done in your Online Account.
